The Alicia Hotel is a few moments from Liverpool city centre, but overlooking the beautiful setting of Sefton Park. It offers high quality accommodation close to the motorway network and to all the main tourist attractions.
This beautifully restored former Cotton Merchant's house, has been converted with special attention paid to its original features, into a modern, luxury country house style hotel with gardens to the rear and the park itself at the front. As soon as you arrive you will begin to enjoy the delights of this truly grand house and be immediately cared for by our professional and friendly management and staff.
The Alicia prides itself on providing en suite bedrooms to match your budget and needs. From our deluxe award winning suites to our standard accommodation, we will ensure that you have everything you require and a little bit more, for a little bit less.
All rooms enjoy satellite television, tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial telephone and many other little luxuries to make your stay a special one. The majority of our rooms, being of executive standard also have a CD Player and Sony Playstation with a library of free games and CD's available from reception.
This Hotel really does have something for everyone. The Edwardian Bar with it's warm fire and comfortable leather couches provides the ideal location to unwind and enjoy a comprehensive bar service with quality snacks. Alternatively enjoy our Glasshouse Restaurant, aptly named, which provides a wide range of value for money dishes in a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Please note that in the case of weekend bookings or arrivals on a Friday/Saturday night, a deposit of 30 GBP per person will be taken at the time of booking. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

By Car (from the M6/M62):
- As you come to the end of the M62, move over to the left hand lane and go past the service station, where you will then see Higson's Rocket Pub.
- Take the hard left slip road past this pub that will swing you onto a dual carriageway (Queens Drive / A5058).
- You will come to 2 major roundabouts. The 1st is "The Childwall Fiveways”, go straight ahead at this keeping the “Fiveways Pub” to your left.
- Proceed down Queen’s Drive to the next roundabout and go straight over, keeping to the middle lane, following the signs for “University Halls of Residence, Aigburth”.
- Queens Drive is now a single carriage road, in a residential area lined with trees.
- You will soon pass under a bridge and through a set of traffic lights, after this Queens Drive will end at a mini roundabout and this will bring you into Sefton Park.
- Take the 2nd exit off this roundabout and proceed round the perimeter of the park, keeping the houses/hotels on your left hand-side.
- You will find the hotel approximately 2.5 km (1.5 miles) around it.
